Our Previous Students

At Skin Philosophy Training we provide training courses to hopeful skin aestheticians up and down the country and in Ireland. But, we like to think we offer more than straightforward education courses. All of our teachers truly care about each individual student and we are always happy to offer additional advice or encouragement as we look to enrich and expand our industry.

This means not only teaching our students everything we know about skin and running their own clinic, but also keeping in touch afterwards to find out how they are getting on. So we thought it might interest potential students to read about some of our past participants and gain the inside scoop on how our courses work and how they could benefit you.

Jessica

Q: What is your background?

A: I went to college where I did a qualification in beauty.

Q: How did the course help you?

A: Not only did I learn a huge amount, but Annalouise encouraged me to move to London and gain first-hand experience in a clinic, which was hugely helpful.

Q: What are you doing now?

A: I am celebrating the first anniversary of my clinic and have won a number of awards including Employer of the Year, Top Rated Salon and Aesthetic Therapist/Clinic of the Year.

Q: What is your background?

A: I’m a trained pharmacist and have been working in pharmacy for 14 years.

Q: Why did you decide to do the Advance course?

A: I have always had a love for skin care and I started to get more passionate about different skin techniques. I spent a huge amount of time researching different options and thought that Advance offered the best possible opportunity for me to learn as much as possible as well as an internationally recognised degree.

Q: How did the course help you?

A: I cannot even put into words how much I learnt, but beyond that Annalouise, my trainer, has continued to support and motivate me. She was a real inspiration for me and I really believe has helped change my life.

Q: What are you doing now?

A: I am currently working in a clinic part-time and am looking to set up my own clinic next year.

Gill Holmes

Q: What is your background?

A: I have worked with the NHS and also been a lecturer in health and social care.

Q: Why did you decide to do the Advance course?

A: I hoped to open my own clinic and liked that Advance had a specific course on how to open your own clinic.

Q: How did the course help you?

A: It was an absolutely fantastic course and to be honest what Annalouise doesn’t know simply isn’t worth knowing. The training was intensive and covered absolutely everything you would need to know to open a new clinic.

Q: What are you doing now?

A: I can’t actually believe it, but since doing the course a year ago I have already opened my own clinic and have 2 members of staff as well as 3 others who rent rooms from me.
