Having watched the industry grow and develop over the past 15 years she has consistently been at the forefront of innovation and has worked to constantly advance and enrich her technique.

This dedication and drive saw her set up Advance in 2010 to fill the gap in the market that saw a lack of qualified and experienced technicians in the UK. Years later following lots of similar names coming to the market Advance changed name to Skin Philosophy Training. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”Profile Details” font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1548293002011{margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”]Spurred by a desire to make people feel their very best selves Annalouise Kenny, a native Irelander, decided to spread her wings and carve a space for herself in the beauty sector. And so after travelling around the world including stints in New York, London, South Africa as well as on luxury cruise ships, where she was able to harness her skills whilst learning a tremendous amount, she returned to Ireland to focus on her career.

On her return, Annalouise’s experience and talent saw her made assistant manager of a well known clinic at the age of only 23 and within six months she had been promoted to area manager of a chain of salons that focused on skin peels and laser. This opportunity meant that Annalouise was an early adopter of these innovative techniques and, then, as now is at the forefront of this ever advancing technology. This unique knowledge meant that Annalouise was soon headhunted to set up a chain of clinics in Northern Ireland, which over a period of only 18 months expanded to include three immensely successful clinics.

During this experience Annalouise noted there was a clear gap in the market for the education and training of therapists, which at the time was provided only by suppliers for specific products. And so in 2011, at the age of only 25, Annalouise set up her first business – Advance: a school dedicated to providing training to beauty therapists in advanced skin treatment. Since then her business has grown and grown and she now also runs a successful skin clinic in South Barnes as well as a wellness retreat in Greece.
